Perren's Week

Last student of the week for the school year!  And lucky for Perren, he was it!
One of the things I love about Perren is he is a VORACIOUS reader.  It warmed my heart this year when I started reading Laura Ingalls Wilder out loud to the class, he started reading the other books in the series because he liked it so much.  And I always knew he was musical, but was blown away this week when I went down to music to watch him play the piano for a few minutes.

Luca's Week

So being student of the week right before the STAAR might be considered qiute a drag to most kiddos, but it didn't phase Luca one bit.  Luca is proabably what most would call the class clown- always keeping it light and interesting in our room.  He was amazingly sweet with my 3 year old when he met her a few weeks ago.  He has a great heart!  We had a great week (even with the STAAR looming), so here are the pics:

Tatum's Week

Oh Tatum.  How wonderful it has been to have her in our classroon this year!  She can work with anyone, lets everything roll off her back, and has a great sense of humor.  Also she is a great sport when I call her by the wrong name.  I don't know why I call her Peyton, but perhaps it is becasue she wears a lot of Peyton Manning jerseys?  Who knows.
