Welcome to Mrs. Rowles' Classroom!

Greetings!  If you came to this blog, then you probably were directed here from Meet the Teacher Night!  This blog is going to be used to highlight our student of the week, who will carry the classroom torch until the next student of the week.  Since we don't have a student of the week for the first week, I thought I would use this oppurtunity to let you get to know me!
I went to the University of Dallas where I majored in elementary education.  This is where I met my husband, Chris.

After I graduated, I taught 3rd grade for 5 years in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD.  In between those 5 years, I got married and had 2 daughters, Gianna and Elia.  Gianna is 5 and will be a kindergartner at Spears this fall!  She is too excited and has been counting down the days.  Elia is 3 and will be attending a daycare down the road from Spears.

After I had Elia, I quit CFB and for the past 3 years I was a stay at home mom/tutor/long term sub at another school in Frisco.  That lead me to Spears and I cannot tell you how grateful and excited I am to have your children here in my room with me.
